Welcome

Dear Friends interested in Upper Limb Surgery,
On behalf of the organizing committee, we are honored to welcome you to the 1st Upper Limb Conference in Bük, Hungary. This will be the first time, that the Hungarian Society for the Surgery of the Hand (HSSH) and the Association of Hungarian Shoulder and Elbow Surgeons (AHSES) come together for a combined congress. It’s the 30th anniversary congress for the HSSH, and the 70th anniversary of the hosting Trauma Center in Szombathely.
The main themes of the congress are instability, tendon transfers and salvage procedures. Focus will be held on physical examination, and the participants will have the chance to get a detailed knowledge in ultrasound or parctice some basic procedures on cadavers (Shoulder – Elbow – Wrist). On the 3rd day, a great opportunity for sharing knowledge, we present a session to „Bring Your Case”.
The 1st Upper Limb Congress presents a renowned line-up of speakers on-site as also on-line. We present 3 keynote lectures as a highlight to the congress.

The Congress will take place at Hotel Caramell, Bük, which is in the western part of Hungary near the Austrian border. Bük is a well known spa resort, Kőszeg, as a historical city is just minutes away by car, and within an hour you can reach Lake Balaton as well.
In addition to the scientific program, we present a colourful social program too.
We hope, that the 1st Upper Limb Congress in Hungary will fulfill everybody’s expectations in both the scientific as well as social fields.
