Call for Abstracts

The organizers welcome abstracts on the topics:
 Tumors and trauma in childhood
     (Supracondylar humeral-, femoral neck -, forarm fractures, physeal lesions)
 Paediatric orthopaedics (except DDH)
 
Deadline for submission: 28 February 2005

Instructions for submission of papers:
1.
abstracts may be submitted on-line via the SICOT web site at
http://www.sicot.org/?page=tmbudapest
2.
no faxed submissions will be accepted.
3.
no paper or e-mail submissions will be accepted, unless the author(s) formally discharge SICOT from any responsibility for errors or omissions in the transcription of their abstract in the SICOT system.
4.
if on-line submission is not technically possible, the author(s) may request assistance by sending an e-mail to: hq@sicot.org
5.
otherwise authors may contact the Trainees' Meeting Organizing Committee, Dr. Imre Antal by e-mail or postal address: Department of Orthopaedics, Semmelweis University, H-1113 Budapest, Karolina út 27. Hungary, or Congress Bureau by e-mail
6.
presenting authors may submit an unlimited number of abstracts, however a maximum of two abstracts will be accepted for presentation.
7.
presenting authors are required to supply their full postal address and e-mail address and to complete the mandatory fields of the on-line abstract form in order to make a valid submission.
8.
once an abstract has been successfully submitted, the author will receive an e-mail confirming receipt of the abstract, indicating the abstract number, its title and the URL where the author may go to consult and/or edit the abstract (i.e. modify the text of the abstract, add names of co-author(s) and institute(s) or any other relevant information). All abstracts submitted may be edited at will by their author(s) until the abstract submission closes on 15 February 2005.
9.
all co-authors must agree with the material being submitted.
10.
the material submitted may not have been published or presented at any national or international meeting before this one.
11.
abstracts must be received by 15 February 2005.
12.
they must be written in English, with no more than 250 words, including any graph or table. No photographs and no slide presentations will be accepted.
13.
only registered conference participants will be accepted as abstract presenters.
